Rally for Rivers

Ganga, Krishna, Narmada, Kaveri- many of great rivers are depleting fast. If we do not act now, our legacy to the next generation will be lost. With this message, Universal High participated in Rally for Rivers Campaign. A special assembly was conducted in which the students showcased their awareness about the importance of rivers through aplethora of activities like speeches, poster and slogan writing and taking a pledge to save river water. The campaign was a great success in promoting the need to save and create water resources, for the maintenance of ecological balance in order to safeguard the future life.

Litter Less

Litter less campaign was organised keeping in mind the importance of cleanliness in today’s time. The objective of the campaign was to instill in students the habit of cleanliness and to make them realize the ill effects of littering and the associated hazards. The teacher in-charge, along with the student-member of Eco committee visited primary classes ,explaining them the importance and benefits of litter less environment and also how their individual contribution could make a huge difference. Various posters were put up on the corridors, which drew attention of not only the students but also the teachers and non teaching staff as well and in a way spread awareness of litter less awareness.
